生活，在童書裡

自1952年秋年起，紐約時報書評每年都會選出10本最優秀的兒童繪本創作。今年的評審委員有三位，來頭不小，克利斯多福•邁爾斯(Christopher Myers)，作品Jabberwocky去年獲選，也曾獲得凱迪克銀牌獎；卡洛琳•沃德(Caroline Ward)，孩童在美國圖畫書裡的形象特展的策劃；露安•托斯(Luann Toth)，是學校圖書館期刊(School Library Journal)書評編輯，會是2002年凱迪克大獎評審團的一員。2008紐約時報選出的十大兒童繪本如下：
